I've been to several pawn shops and all of their guns are expensive, they are even selling used Hi Point guns for $ 200 when you can buy them new online for $ 150. I really don't want to pay the $ 50 fee to have the gun transferred to a gun store and I'm not sure I want to buy a Hi Point; I can't have my gun jam when I need to protect myself. I also went to a few gun shops and their guns are also expensive. I have less than $ 200 to spend right now. If you know of a pawn shop or a gun shop that has inexpensive used guns, please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it. You post an interesting dilemma. What is your life worth? Put a value on it, that will help[ with your decision. You might also check with the security agency you intend to work for. They may have a minimum gun, and or caliber, they may have an in or contract with a gun store that will give you a deal. If they let you carry a Hi-Point, I, for one, would not hire that agency to protect my chickens from drunk foxes.
