You shouldn't be worried. But you also shouldn't be taking out that loan or giving them any information if you don't know what company they are. Doesn't sound familiar to me...And I have offers from all the legit banks. I wouldn't do anything. Just throw it away and call it junk mail.

Weird I see someone else has the same name as me. LOL... Actually I had a call from this place as well they told me that I was approved for a 5000 loan but had to send money to a lady in canada in the amount of 900 dollars before they could go forward with the loan... That raised a red flag why not to them and I had to send it by money gram. I have been trying to check the company out I can't find them in the yellow pages the BBB told me that all mail sent to them had been returned to the post office an not able to deliver. They guy that called me was Dave Barrett by chance was this the same person to call you?? I have filed a report with the BBB and have them check out the company. They even faxed me papers that did look legit and have a web site crestviewlending.com but if you send them a question on the website you will get no response. Needless to say they did not get my 900 dollars. If anyone has any information on this company and we can help someone from getting scammed lets shut them down.... Kind of funny too that there is only a 300 dollar difference of what you have to send in a security deposit in a 5000 dollar loan and a 20000 dollar loan.. I was told that my 900 dollars would actually pay four months of my payments and the first payment I would make to them on the loan would be in Nov. of this year. Hope this helps.. Thanks, Tia
