Ok basically I needed money fast so I don't even know tried applying for a few online..a few days ago I was in college when I got a call from star loans saying I had been accepted or something at first I tought what but I guess I needed the money..so I agreed to going ahead and he transferred me..now the guy was going through everything and said I could borrow £500 for 12 months. He said something about repaying £50 every month I couldn't hear him properly because of the background noise and said ok..then he took my card details and said ok you will get a letter by post sign and send back and you will get the money within 10 days..I even got a text after the phone call that gives their contact number..yesterday I checked my bank and they had took over £50..what at first I tought maybe they're meant to but now I read on google that they're a scam company that rip peole off..I just want my money back and I read something like if you don't sign the papers then you can get your money back..my question is I yacht signed anything as I yet so how can I ge my money back what h e I got to do? Definitely a scam, they are cropping up all over the internet as malicious. Typically, approaches such as these prey on people looking for jobs, loans or who are in search of extra finance and attempt to get as much information from them as possible (known as phishing), pretending to be a head-hunter or hiring agency or some equivalent 'official'. From there your identity can be stolen, or bank acct/funds stolen. If I were you I'd immediately file a claim at getpayback.com or some such social justice group. You can share your story and warn the public and hopefully get some closure, or maybe even reimbursement. It is possible for the public to hold these companies accountable through social justice sites and responsible proactive consumer practices. Also, go to your bank and tell them that your acct has been stolen from - block the acct from the party in question and they should reimburse you. Just make sure you tell them that you didn't authorize the purchase. Good luck
